Product trial and selection

Fresh and Frozen Sea Buckthorn Receiving Trial

Compare berry receiving conditions, thaw liquid, clumps and prepared-feed handling on a visible mass and temperature record.

Specify what reaches the equipment

For fresh berries, record debris, damaged fruit and handling condition. For frozen material, record temperature, clumping and the agreed preparation before feeding. A frozen block is not interchangeable with freely metered berries.

Keep thaw liquid in the record

Identify drainage, collection and destination of released liquid. Weigh fruit, collected liquid and losses with time and temperature. Water additions and wash carryover should remain separate from fruit-derived liquid.

Compare extraction on the actual feed basis

Use the same desired product and sampling method while recording different preparation histories. Do not apply a fresh-fruit capacity or fixed yield to frozen material without a representative trial.

The next step in your process

Put the equipment scope together.

Discuss the ingredient, the incoming material and the part of the line you want to build.
