How to Specify Sea Buckthorn Line Capacity

Use a capacity basis that means the same thing across the line.

Name the stream behind the number

Berry input, screened puree, extracted juice and packaged concentrate are different flow bases. Record which stream a proposed rate refers to and the feed condition at that boundary. Avoid comparing fruit-input capacity with ingredient-output capacity as if they were identical.

Allow for the retained and removed streams

Extraction leaves a retained fraction. Concentration removes water. Those changes mean that downstream product flow can differ substantially from upstream fruit input. Use measured or agreed composition and stream definitions instead of a fixed universal extraction yield.

Include the operating pattern

Continuous extraction, buffer levels, thermal operation and package changes create different operating demands. Define the intended run interval and interruptions. A useful proposal states the input, product endpoint and acceptance conditions for the selected configuration.

Information for an equipment enquiry

Describe the material you start with, the ingredient you want and the part of the process you need to add. Include a known processing amount or package format if available. The linked equipment pages identify the machines relevant to this decision.

The next step in your process

Put the equipment scope together.

Discuss the ingredient, the incoming material and the part of the line you want to build.
