Compare the intended products
Screened pulping produces a selected puree fraction and screen reject. Belt pressing produces expressed liquid and wet cake. Define puree body, juice suspended solids and seed condition before treating either route as the preferred extraction method.
Keep the feed and collection interval matched
Record fruit lot, preparation, temperature, additions, inlet mass and run time. Weigh accepted product, retained material, samples and losses separately. Inspect seed damage and residual recoverable material using the same stated method.
Choose with the downstream route
Assess transfer, any selected clarification, thermal passages and bulk filling against the accepted product. A larger collected mass alone is not a better ingredient.
