Processing Frozen Sea Buckthorn Berries

Treat frozen fruit as its own preparation route.

Describe how the fruit arrives

Loose frozen berries, clusters and frozen blocks do not provide the same feeding condition. Establish the physical form and the handling needed before the selected extractor. A fresh-fruit front end should not be assumed to receive an uncontrolled frozen block.

Account for liquid and temperature

Preparation may introduce a liquid fraction that must be handled with the fruit or collected separately according to the process. Record the temperature and consistency at the extraction inlet. Those conditions influence transfer and the comparison of extraction results.

Connect preparation to the chosen product

Choose screened puree or a juice route first, then define how frozen feed reaches that equipment. Include receiving, drainage, buffer and cleaning interfaces in the discussion. The selected preparation arrangement should be reflected in the equipment proposal.

Information for an equipment enquiry

Describe the material you start with, the ingredient you want and the part of the process you need to add. Include a known processing amount or package format if available. The linked equipment pages identify the machines relevant to this decision.

The next step in your process

Put the equipment scope together.

Discuss the ingredient, the incoming material and the part of the line you want to build.
