Selection guide

Choosing a Sea Buckthorn Evaporator

Select water removal around the concentrated product, too.

Calculate the required water-removal duty

Use the agreed feed and product composition together with a defined flow basis. Concentrate output is not the same number as feed capacity. Additional streams and real losses need their own terms in the material balance.

Match the flow arrangement to the ingredient

A falling-film arrangement depends on distribution and a suitable flowing film across heating surfaces. A circulation-based arrangement recirculates product through the heating section and separates vapour in the associated vessel. Product rheology, suspended material and deposits guide selection.

Check the outlet and next operation

The concentrated product can have a different viscosity and transfer requirement from the inlet. Include discharge pumping, utility conditions, vacuum duty and cleaning interfaces. Evaporation alone does not establish the microbial process or the final storage conditions.

Information for an equipment enquiry

Describe the material you start with, the ingredient you want and the part of the process you need to add. Include a known processing amount or package format if available. The linked equipment pages identify the machines relevant to this decision.

The next step in your process

Put the equipment scope together.

Discuss the ingredient, the incoming material and the part of the line you want to build.
